The SuperFlux MkIII (HT and HS versions)

What makes Superflux the best Funwheel aka single-wheeled-balance-board motor in the world?

Genuine SFK/ NSK Bearings:

The Best motor in the world must come with the best bearings in the world. Our SKF/ NSK bearings are 100% genuine and if used under fair conditions, are covered under warranty for 1000 miles or 1 year.

The Thunder Tire!

Yes, the new Thunder 11.5 inch tire is what all motors will ship with the new thunder tire, which will be a medium-soft compound to tackle both streets and trails. Best of both worlds!

Highest amperage Plug-in single connector:

We now have a single plug-in locking proprietary connector with 4mm bullet connectors and a 6 pin hall connector; the only one of its kind in existence. This connector will make the Superflux more accessible to a wider crowd, and easier to build Funwheels,  do swaps and tire changes!

Improved axle block:

We got rid of the original FM style axle block and improved the thermals and the looks of it.

Ground-breaking Performance:

Superflux now comes in two performance versions: High Torque and High Speed.

The HS version is the same kv as the original Superflux MKI, which means it is geared towards people looking to make a racing board, but will also provide VERY high torque compared to other motors in the market. Perfect for people needing insane speeds and with boards with batteries from 15S to20S.

The HT version is geared towards higher voltage builds (20S and more) and folks wanting a torquier, more responsive, more punchy motor, greater acceleration from standstill and more efficient in hill climbs and tough situations. The HT version can also be made faster than a OW GT, if you have a good 18S P45 battery or a 20S P28A battery, simply by setting Field weakening to 30A or 40A (please do not exceed and use with caution).

Please watch this video to decide which is right for you: HT vs. HS motor..

History

The original SuperFlux defied all odds and exceeded all expectations. The Superflux Mk 2 is here to, believe it or nor, be better than its predecessor.

Here's The original superflux in action:

Specs

Power:

>2000W (honestly, folks push it to 4000+W).

Speed:

HS Version:

Top speed ~ 40 mph or 65 km/h! (can achieve freespin of more than 100km/h with field weakening).

HT Version:

Top speed ~ 30+ mph or 50+ km/h! (can achieve freespin of more than 80km/h with field weakening).

Torque:

HS version

50Nm+ (more than you will ever need).

HT version

80Nm+ (Insane torque).

The SF wheel is made to give you the greatest torque and top speed that is possible from a 6 inch wheel.

These are real world numbers and not exaggerated confusing HP numbers.

Size:

115mmx90mm stator (biggest ever).

Compatibility:

Remie and I have designed the SuperFlux motor to be compatible with the original Funwheel Kit, the new Thunder kit and the OW XR Rails and Frame.

Adapter Blocks and bolts ship with the motor.

Superflux HT

Performs as expected, strong acceleration and climbing for 82kg rider. Another level up from hypercore and 5inch hub upgrades. Thought weight may be issue (lightness is quickness) but it isn’t, ride feel is excellent.

The BEAST

Received the HT motor as a part of my X7 kit. It's amazing. I'm a relatively heavy dude, but it handles me like I'm nothing :)
It works fine with the 84v battery, plenty of speed, at least for my needs.
When I switched to the 134v battery, it became an absolute beast! Very impressive.
I'm already looking forward to getting another one for a new board as soon as they're back in stock in the US.

Shocking difference

The difference between the HC motor and the SuperFlux is incredible. At speeds where I felt like I was getting close to the limits of my board, the SuperFlux feels comfortable and ready to give more. Everything about it feels more solid and capable.

The qualityV3 ht🤔

honestly this is a questionable quality of an motor, version 2 seems to be better built. 1 I always replace the bearings with ntn bearings which I lubricate myself with kluber NB52 grease, but the bearings in the v3 motor seem to be a copy of a skf 61907 2rs bearing, I have skf bearings in stock as I service onevheel's these are bearings that are original and through 5 years where I have done rep the bearing has looked like this, see the difference in the pictures. then there is also the stator where simple copper twists stick out very far, and then the lid itself is quite different, it is thinner and the seal itself with o-ring is at the very top of the lid and not like on the v2 where the seal is further down. so I am very disappointed with the quality this time, the other v2 motors I have bought have been better made in my opinion💁‍♂️

Hello Henrik!
These are great observations. Let us explain.
1. About the SKF bearings: When we started producing Superflux motors about 6 years ago we were hit by numerous fake SKF bearings. In fact, SKF is the most counterfeited bearing because it is one the most premium. We took concrete steps to ensure that we source ONLY Original IMPORTED bearings from Japan for MK1 and most of MK2s; We verified the supplier directly with SKF, and had random checks on the quality of the bearings and went back to SKF to authenticate them.
In late 2023, SKF decided that no imported bearings will be used in the Chinese market, but rather SKF will produce the bearings domestically only. This is why we switched to GENUINE, SKF bearings made in China, and distributed by only the AUTHORIZED resellers in the market. We pay 10 times more than any other motor manufacturer for thes bearings, and we sure want to make certain that we are not duped by any fake suppliers, and in turn, our customers only get the BEST stuff!! regarding the difference in diameter of outer race, this is an accepted discrepancy; In fact we went back to SKF to inquire about the descripancy and also compared the older (Japanese) and newer (chinese) bearings and 100% confirmed that both are original, and made by SKF ONLY.
2. About the windings, each motor is hand-wound to ensure we can get maximum copper in the motors instead of mass producing them on a mashine. therefore, the perfection will not be like a cheaper motor wound by a machine. However, any slightly loose strands should not affect performance in anyway :)

I hope you can change the one star of your review; if you wish, I can share with you privately the bearings authentication with SKF :)

Have a great day!
